- Project Scientist (PS-II): Master’s degree in relevant engineering disciplines; PhD mandate (No); NET/SET requirement (No).
- Senior Project Associate: Doctoral degree in Science or Master’s in Engineering; PhD mandate (Yes for Sciences); NET/SET requirement (No).
- Project Associate (PAT-I & PAT-II): Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, or Master’s in Science; PhD mandate (No); NET/GATE qualification successfully secures a higher stipend tier.

Experience
- Project Scientist (PS-II): 5 years of relevant work experience in R&D within industrial or academic institutions.
- Senior Project Associate: 2 years of relevant work experience for both Doctoral and Master’s degree holders.
- Project Associate (PAT-II): 2 years of relevant work experience in scientific organizations.
- Project Associate (PAT-I) / Project Assistant (PA-II): Minimum 0 years of experience required.
