The Joint NAM S&T Centre – UM Malang Post-Doctoral Fellowship advances South-South Cooperation in Science and Technology by enabling early-career postdoctoral researchers from developing countries to affiliate with Universitas Negeri Malang across disciplines spanning Science, Technology, Engineering, and Social Sciences. Administered jointly by NAM S&T Centre — an Inter-Governmental Organisation based in New Delhi — and UM, the fellowship facilitates international research collaboration and strengthens scientific and academic networking between NAM S&T Centre Member Countries and Indonesia. Consequently, selected fellows undertake full-time advanced research, deliver guest lectures, and contribute to UM’s academic community throughout the fellowship period. Furthermore, mandatory deliverables including publication of at least one Q2-indexed Scopus or Web of Science journal article ensure that the fellowship generates lasting, measurable contributions to the global research literature.
