The ATAL FDP Parul Institute of Engineering & Technology is a one-week offline Faculty Development Program scheduled from August 03, 2026, to August 08, 2026. Sponsored by the AICTE Training and Learning (ATAL) Academy, this comprehensive initiative focuses on “Digital Transformation in Manufacturing: Enabling Smart and Sustainable Industrial Systems”. Organized by the Department of Applied Sciences & Humanities at Parul University, Vadodara, the program aims to bridge the gap between conventional manufacturing practices and modern smart industrial systems.

The primary objective of this FDP is to develop advanced insights into digital manufacturing ecosystems, emphasizing cyber-physical integration and intelligent automation. The curriculum seeks to create awareness about the transformative role of digital technologies in improving both efficiency and sustainability. By participating, faculty will strengthen their capacity to integrate Industry 4.0 concepts into teaching, research, and consultancy activities. The six-day schedule includes a designated industrial visit to the Electrical Research and Development Association (ERDA) in Vadodara to provide real-world insights into power electronics and material testing.
