About the Programme

The primary objective of this FDP is to develop advanced insights into digital manufacturing ecosystems, emphasizing cyber-physical integration and intelligent automation. The curriculum seeks to create awareness about the transformative role of digital technologies in improving both efficiency and sustainability. By participating, faculty will strengthen their capacity to integrate Industry 4.0 concepts into teaching, research, and consultancy activities. The six-day schedule includes a designated industrial visit to the Electrical Research and Development Association (ERDA) in Vadodara to provide real-world insights into power electronics and material testing.

  • A 2-page article summary submitted per team contributes 30% to the final evaluation.
  • The output from practical sessions carries an individual 15% weightage.
  • A team report on the industrial visit carries a 10% weightage.
  • An individual Reflection Journal submitted during the final session carries a 15% weightage.
