The ATAL FDP College of Poultry Production and Management is a six-day Faculty Development Programme operating in an offline mode from 17 August 2026 to 22 August 2026. Sponsored by the AICTE Training and Learning (ATAL) Academy, this initiative focuses on “Innovation Ecosystems in Poultry Processing: Industry-Academia-Startup Linkages”. Organized by the College of Poultry Production and Management (TANUVAS) in Hosur, the program is designed to expose participants to real-world industry challenges and encourage entrepreneurship in the poultry sector.

This Faculty Development Programme is aimed at understanding emerging trends and technologies in poultry processing. The pedagogy features collaborative, experiential, and outcome-based teaching with 25 hours of theory, 5 hours of practical lab sessions, article discussions, and a designated industrial visit. The curriculum seeks to build networks among academia, industry, and innovators while enhancing knowledge on IPR, patents, and commercialization pathways.
The host institution, the College of Poultry Production and Management, is situated in a serene environment spreading over 80 acres of land in Mathigiri. Located approximately 5 km from the Hosur railway station and about 40 kms from Bangalore, the college has established world-class infrastructure for poultry-oriented research and industry linkage.

A1: Associate Professors, Assistant Professors, Ph.D. Scholars, and PG Students from AICTE-approved institutions in fields like Food Science, Poultry Technology, and Bio-Technology are eligible.

A2: No, there is absolutely no registration fee to attend this offline programme.
Q3: How many participants will be selected?
A3: A maximum of 30 to 50 candidates will be selected on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Q4: Do I need any specific documents to register?
A4: Yes, registration requires the upload of a colour photo, your signature, and either a student ID card or an employee consent letter in JPEG format.
Q5: Will accommodation be provided for the participants?
A5: Yes, free shared accommodation is provided in the CPPM Trainees Hostel, along with free boarding (participants are requested not to bring family members).
