This Faculty Development Program introduces participants to 3D printing, enabling them to gain practical knowledge and skills by interacting with experts in the field. The program emphasizes how this technology can democratize the production of components, from medical supplies to everyday goods.

The host institution, Chendhuran Polytechnic College, is a self-financing polytechnic established in 2007 and governed by the Tiruchendhuran Murugan Trust. Located in a serene 23-acre lush green campus in the Pudukkottai Madurai highway, the college is affiliated to DOTE Chennai and AICTE, New Delhi. The Department of Mechanical Engineering infuses entrepreneurship and detailed knowledge of intricate technologies to enhance societal comforts, ensuring graduates are well-prepared for the demands of modern engineering.
