Applications are now open for the AICTE Training and Learning (ATAL) Academy sponsored Faculty Development Programme on AI-Enabled Structural Health Monitoring FDP 2026. Themed “AI-Enabled Structural Health Monitoring for Sustainable Bridge and Highway Infrastructure”, this six-day offline FDP is organized by the Department of Civil Engineering (NBA Accredited) at Sanaka Educational Trust’s Group of Institutions (SETGOI), Malandighi, Durgapur, West Bengal.
Scheduled from September 7 to September 12, 2026, this workshop provides comprehensive knowledge on integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), low-cost sensing, multi-hazard monitoring, and radar technologies for sustainable bridge and highway infrastructure. There is no registration fee for selected participants.

Participants must fulfill the continuous evaluation requirements set by the AICTE ATAL Academy across all six days. Certification is granted based on attendance, active workshop participation, daily article discussions, submission of the reflection journal, and performance on the final MCQ assessment test.

An industrial field visit to the Mejia Thermal Power Station (MTPS), operated by the Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC), is scheduled for Day 4 of the program.
