Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS) integrate computation, networking, and physical processes, acting as the backbone for critical infrastructures like smart grids, autonomous transportation, healthcare systems, and industrial automation. With their increasing connectivity, these systems are highly susceptible to sophisticated cyber threats that can inflict real-world physical damage.
This FDP aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of CPS security by focusing on attack mechanisms, vulnerabilities, and modern defense strategies. Participants will learn resilient system design approaches and explore the integration of emerging technologies like Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Blockchain within CPS networks. The program is designed to enhance the capabilities of attendees in teaching, research, and curriculum development.
NIELIT Patna is an Autonomous and Scientific Society under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India. The newly established Department of Computer Science & Engineering (2024) features state-of-the-art laboratories dedicated to Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Networking, and Databases, fostering hands-on learning and innovative research.
The curriculum seamlessly blends expert lectures, research article discussions, and hands-on laboratory training. (Note: Lab sessions are held daily from 4:30 PM – 5:30 PM, except on the final day).
