About the Programme

This comprehensive Faculty Development Program bridges the gap between academia and real-world applications by exploring the frontiers of wireless communication. Participants will delve into emerging concepts such as integrated sensing systems, Reconfigurable Intelligent Surfaces (RIS), and post-quantum cryptography in 6G. The program emphasizes an experiential learning approach, combining expert lectures, hands-on sessions, research article discussions, and an industrial visit to enhance teaching effectiveness and research capabilities.

The host institution, Jawaharlal Nehru New College of Engineering (JNNCE), was established in 1980 by the National Education Society. Recognized by the Government of Karnataka and approved by AICTE, the NAAC ‘A’ accredited institution boasts specialized labs for microwave, VLSI, and digital telecommunications. Notably, the ETE department serves as a Nodal Centre for IIT Bombay’s “e-Yantra” project, providing a strong foundation for practical, industry-relevant technical education.
