The Solar Terrestrial Physics Workshop 2026 presents a premier opportunity for educators to enhance their understanding of space physics. Organized by the Department of Physics at University College, Thiruvananthapuram, in collaboration with ICARD and IUCAA, this event specifically targets Physics faculty members. This workshop is designed to introduce the syllabus of the new Solar Terrestrial Physics course. Specifically, the session focuses on equipping faculty members with the necessary tools to teach this specialized subject effectively. Moreover, the collaboration with the Inter-University Centre for Astronomy and Astrophysics (IUCAA) ensures that the content meets high academic standards. In addition, Physics faculty from other universities are also welcome to register.
