The position is initially sanctioned until 30th June 2026. However, it may be extended for an additional two years based on the candidate’s performance and project requirements. Notably, the remuneration is fixed at Rs. 37,000 per month plus HRA as per norms. Candidates must bring a printed copy of the Google Form application and self-attested copies of all certificates, including GATE/NET scorecards and proof of age, for the verification process.
Is this a permanent position at NIT Raipur?
No, the position is purely temporary and contractual. It is co-terminus with the project duration and does not entitle the candidate to regular employment at the institute.
Can I apply for NIT Raipur Junior Research Fellow Recruitment 2026 without a GATE score?
While candidates with a B.Tech and GATE or an M.Tech are preferred, the eligibility criteria include M.Sc and MCA graduates with the required percentage. However, preference is strictly given to GATE/NET qualified individuals.
Is there any TA/DA provided for attending the walk-in interview?
The institute does not provide any traveling or dearness allowance for attending the interview. Candidates must make their own arrangements.
