The Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR) has issued a “Call for Applications” to support the development of professional bodies in the social sciences. The grant aims to empower organizations that are actively involved in national, regional, or local socio-economic research objectives.
The financial assistance is provided as an ad-hoc grant-in-aid, typically capped at ₹8,00,000 per annum. Support is granted on a year-to-year basis for a maximum period of five years.
