The Indian School of Mines was formally opened in December 1926 by Lord Irwin to address the country’s growing need for trained technical manpower. Currently, the institution is executing an interdisciplinary project sponsored by the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF-ECRG) under Sanction No. ANRF/ECRG/2025/002185/ENS. Consequently, the JRF Position IIT ISM Dhanbad vacancy provides an exceptional platform for engineers and applied mathematicians to explore physics-informed data-driven modeling and structural digital twins.
