The global shift toward sustainable and low-carbon transportation is accelerating the development of Electric Vehicles (EVs) and Hydrogen Fuel Cell Vehicles (HFCVs). These technologies are essential for reducing greenhouse gas emissions and improving energy efficiency. This FDP focuses on the latest innovations, technologies, and challenges in EV and hydrogen-based mobility systems, including power electronics, energy storage, hydrogen production, fuel cell systems, and infrastructure development. Aligned with the FAME India Scheme and the National Green Hydrogen Mission, the program aims to strengthen faculty and researchers in advancing sustainable mobility solutions.
Sri Satya Sai University of Technology and Medical Sciences (SSSUTMS) was formally established as a university in 2013, with roots tracing back to 1999. It is one of the top-ranking universities and premier engineering and medical destinations in India, boasting over 20,000 students and 1,200 faculty members. The campus is renowned for its ‘Green Campus’ initiative and state-of-the-art infrastructure. SSSUTMS is classified as Category A by the MHRD and under Section 12B by UGC.
Lectures will be delivered by esteemed faculty members from IITs, NITs, and other reputed institutes. The FDP has also made provisions for distinguished speakers from various industries and research laboratories to provide practical insights.
