About the Programme

The Project Associate-II IIT Bhilai 2026 recruitment is being conducted under a research project funded by the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF) through the Prime Minister Early Career Research Grant (PMECRG) scheme. Eligibility Criteria

Academic Qualification

  • B.Tech in Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, Materials and Metallurgical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or an equivalent discipline.
  • M.Tech in any of the above-mentioned disciplines or related fields.
  • Candidates must have qualified GATE in any engineering discipline at least once.

Experience & Other Conditions

  • Strong background in materials processing is desirable.
  • Experience in structural and microstructural characterization is preferred.
  • Knowledge of mechanical testing techniques will be advantageous.
  • Candidates should be capable of contributing to experimental research activities related to advanced composite materials.
  • Selected candidates should be available to join immediately upon receiving the offer.
