Program Overview
The primary objective of this recruitment is to onboard experts who can contribute to IIM Mumbai’s mission of creating skilled professionals across diverse management domains. IIM Mumbai, established in 1963 with support from the UNDP and ILO, has evolved into a powerhouse of technical and management education. Consequently, the institute is focused on hiring faculty members who demonstrate a strong track record of high-quality research in top-tier journals (FT50, Q1, and Q2 categories). Selected candidates will engage in teaching across various postgraduate and doctoral programs, conduct impactful consultancy, and drive institutional development through academic administration.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must possess a Ph.D. with First Class or equivalent in the preceding degree within the relevant branch or specialization. Furthermore, a consistently excellent academic record from secondary education onwards is mandatory. Applicants should exhibit a deep understanding of current global developments in their respective fields.

Qualification and Experience
Professor
Applicants must hold a Ph.D. or equivalent degree with a proven track record of significant research and publications. A minimum of 10 years of teaching, research, or industrial experience is required. Specifically, at least 04 years of this experience must be at the level of Associate Professor in an institution of repute.
Associate Professor
Candidates are required to have a Ph.D. or equivalent degree with a successful publication history. A minimum of 06 years of teaching or research experience is essential. In addition, at least 03 years of this experience must be at the level of Assistant Professor (Grade-I) in a reputed academic organization.
Learning Outcomes & Role Expectations

Pay Scale and Benefits
