The primary objective of this Faculty Development Programme (FDP) is to equip participants with in-depth knowledge of emerging technologies in intelligent transportation systems (ITS). In this era of digital transformation, unmanned systems such as drones (UAVs), autonomous ground vehicles (UGVs), and aerial taxis are becoming vital components of urban logistics.
Furthermore, the curriculum delves into advanced domains including Digital Twin technology, Robot Operating System (ROS), and AI-based navigation. Participants will gain insights into how real-time sensors and edge computing can optimize urban traffic and reduce carbon footprints. Consequently, this program fosters interdisciplinary research to address the complexities of future mobility infrastructure.
The program is designed for a diverse group of academic and professional participants:
The 6-day schedule is structured into 13 comprehensive sessions covering the following core modules:
The FDP features a blend of international academic experts and industry leaders from renowned organizations like Boeing, Qatar Airways, and Fly91.
| Expert Name | Designation & Organization | Expertise Area |
| Dr. Hsiu-Ming Wu | Associate Professor, NTUT, Taiwan | ROS Based Architecture |
| Mr. Bijoy Balakrishnan | Specialist, Qatar Airways | Intelligent Systems |
| Mr. Arvind Kumar Pandey | Lead Structural Engineer, Boeing India | Urban Logistics |
